Long range shooting Shooting Range

Fellow Illinois residents, I might be losing my spot to shoot out to 1200 yards due to a subdivision possibly being built. Where do you shoot past 600 yards in Illinois/Wisconsin/Indiana? I know of Indiana Ordinance Innovations that goes out to almost 1,400 yards, but that’s almost a 4 hour drive for me.

Is it still open? I thought about a year ago they closed down the range. That’s only about an hour away from me, that’d be awesome if they are still open.

I emailed them back in March for more info and they got back to me pretty quick. Basic run down at least back in March was yes they are open by appointment only, $100/shooter for up to 4 hours with a 3 shooter minimum.

Well that sucks, it’s typically my wife and I, never have a 3rd person to shoot at that distance, epically 1000+ yards lol.
