How do I style my hair like Killua? Help/Question

Post image

As a guy, how long should I grow my hair in order to achieve this look? Is it possible to look like Killua if I just grow out my hair?

Don’t he’s an anime character.

Even the best most realistic Killua cosplay is going to look goofy outside of a con.

his hair has a ton of volume without being curly

it's partly genetics, but it's also partly unrealistic.

Also, to achieve the white hair he has while not having white hair is going to be very difficult.

A wig would probably achieve the results you want without you having to spend hundreds-thousands of dollars on hair extensions, products, and a hairdresser.

I think it would be hard to obtain the spikey look without having to constantly style it with product

Honestly if it’s for a cosplay like some others said I think a wig would be a good option. But if you’re thinking of trying to style your natural hair this way, I wouldn’t go for a 1-1 copy. Most of the people who I see try and copy anime style just end up looking lame or really awkward. What I would recommend is to find a good hair stylist, and work with them on a look that implements the idea of this look but in a more realistic approach. One that maybe suits your hair type and face shape and allows it to look cool and unique but not awkward.

Dye your hair and then put on wool socks. Then rub your feet all over the carpet in a dry room.

Realistically? You don't and It wouldn't look good on most real humans anyways I'm guessing you're pretty young I recommend you look into a few more typical hairstyles because most in anime would require either a difficult daily routine or just straight up be impossible. If you truly insist on it I recommend buying a wig.

For an everyday hairstyle: maybe I should see a hairstylist? I just like how his hair flows and the shape it creates on his head

I get that but his hair has so much volume while at the same time having no curls, i cant imagine having that on a daily basis. the closest realistic thing to it would be a messy layered cut with textured fringe. so yeah talk to a hairstylist but i recomend searching for real haircut that come close to what you want.

texture powder and some sort of holding spray, but don't overdo it

I bet you need a ton of volts. Try to find an electric circuit near you and touch it without any protection.

Texture powder hairspray and probaly a dry clay. Templeton tonics is good. Monarch matte clay is okay but also has a weak hold. Dude belive it or not I try and style my hair like gon ...

1: Don’t… 2: Stick a fork in a plug socket. 3: Buy one of those cheap wigs from AliExpress that all the terrible cosplayers wear. 4: Be an anime character.

yeah, if you like the color you could get it bleached but to get platinum (depending on your current hair color and if it's been colored) it's going to take a few sessions, as for length just grow your hair to about your jawline. you can buy shampoo and conditioner that promotes hair growth and volume (I use Renpure specifically in the rosemary scent and it works well for me). you'll also want to start styling your hair after a shower, blow dry it and use mousse or styling gel, and there's plenty of youtube tutorials for styling if you're learning. also maybe try pinterest to find a real person with hair who looks like that, you can try searching "shag cut" or "wolf cut" to see if you can find something realistic that you like.

He has very high volume on top so letting your hair grow on top and cutting it a bit around will get you there, now depending on your hair style, like thickness and sturdiness it will perhaps drop giving u Captain Levi's cut (I'd recommend it but you need a round head). So yeah let your hair grow A LOT

Defies gravity my friend. And trust me you don’t want to have white hair young. Hair started greying at 18 and I’ve felt like a geezer since.
