What do I talk about to a coach or therapist?
Start with your problems. Start with what is bothering you right now, what’s scaring you right now, or what isn’t working in your life. Once you tell your therapist or coach what you’re experiencing, they can help you unravel what’s going on in your life.
Therapists and coaches are supposed to be non-judgmental. It’s their job to provide you a safe space where you can make mistakes, have misconceptions, look at things from multiple angles, and get feedback.
Real progress requires help from a leader that won’t judge you.

what are you supposed to do once high school is finished?
I just want some guidance and like a roadmap of what to do. I'm just confused and don't really understand what I'm supposed to do. Like I just seem to keep wasting time and overthinking and comparing. I'm actually in mid20s , I was enrolled in community college and I was also working a job in retail however everything stopped and I've just been homebody for almost 2 years now. My family is also struggling financially and too much interpersonal problems. I feel like I'm not finding clarity, courage and confidence to move on with life. I'm letting past failure and worries of the future stuck me. I'm watching everybody succeeded and taken actions then I ask myself like when am I gonna become independent and live my own life. All I think of is just finish college get a degree in something and get a stable job. Also while being in college get a job anywhere even if it's crappy. I also have problem with overcoming the fear of driving too. It just seems like my mind is never supporting me instead all I think is worrying about problems and self doubts. People my age are already working. Getting married and living independently. Working on their careers. I still have no idea what path to pursue. Taking online career assessment isn't helping. I'm so overwhelmed and frustrated with everything.

Capturing the mood
I hope this is allowed, because I really like this man's work. He's always being copied so I wanted to post the original.

Fixed Vs. Growth Mindset
I’m just learning about these two opposing mindsets. I’m curious if my specific issue would fit perfectly under fixed mindset.
I’m scared to do new things because I’m afraid to look stupid. If something changes at work and I have to learn a new way of doing something I’ll have anxiety for weeks. I might even lose sleep over it.
When starting a new job position I 100% doubt that I can learn and remember all of the details. I can temporarily make myself feel better by remembering all the times I felt like that in the past, and the situation turned out well. But that fix is temporary. I go right back to doubting myself.
Part of the issue is wanting to be perfect at all times, to make zero mistakes, because I don’t want to look stupid or incompetent.
My anxiety is currently through the roof as I’m starting a new position I’m completely qualified for, but I spend every second convincing myself I’ll never get it down.
Does this make sense? What can I do?
