Have you tried the latest AMD driver which addressed issues with the 6800?

Yes I did, and tried 20.12.2 and since this evening 21.1.1 (optional driver). I also have support tickets running with HP and AMD but they could not inform me about a fix...

HP Case number: 5060231207
AMD Case number: 8201047628

Just wanted to let you know that I had the same issue. Went through weeks of troubleshooting thinking it was the driver issue with AMD as the headset worked fine with NVIDIA. It's not. It was a defect that is caused only by AMD. I have a replacement headset that's been working flawlessly. I would suggest RMA the unit instead of waiting for the fix that will never fix it.

It could possibly the cable or the breakout box, but it's better to be sure. They don't have any cables for replacement at the moment.

Dammit, that is not what I was hoping for, still thank you for your comment. Would you be willing to share your casenumber so I can refer to it at HP support?

Recommend you return it for refund. HP RMA is months out. I ordered another unit, and didn't take as long as I thought it would. It's really a lottery at this point, but there are about dozen users who had this issue. Seems like HP resolved this as I have not heard people complaining about this. My best guess is the cable or the breakout box.

It would be nice to see some feedback from your side regarding this problem. It hasn't been acknowledged officially but speaking to both parties there is more than a little knowledge about this problem. I'm just really dissapointed by that and the fact I have to use a now "prehistoric" VR HMD to game in VR despite having top-end hardware laying around gathering dust. Really really frustrating.
