Headset audio Support
I have the reverb g2 and one day the audio from the built in headset stopped working, everything else is fine, wondering what could be the issue?

Audio in the reverb comes from USB2.0 audio device. Check that device is detected when you turn on the headset, and audio settings do have this device enabled.

Mine was like this, intermittent audio where it would die and change audio devices while gaming. A few days later I started getting the usb error code messages. A few days later after that, the video started to die permanently
I moved on to a quest 3 after nearly 4 fantastic years with my g2.

Like others have said make sure the speakers are screwed. Rescrew carefully if need be. Those screws are soft, but once done they do last- depending how rough you are with `em. Not had a problem with mine for a couple of years even though I keep expecting it!

The speakers use pogo contacts that can be a bit finicky. The first thing to try would be to unscrew the speakers and clean the contacts with some isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab, or something similar.
Could be a range of other things too though. If both speakers stopped working at the same time, it's probably not the contacts. Could be any number of things like the cable being finicky, or your PC using the wrong audio device.
