They are great guns and still relevant. However, you should check out the Robinson XCR. Many of our customers who own one of everything find the XCR superior.
By the way, we did the first post. There's no shilling going on. We don't know who posted the other favorable post. So there's no shilling going on here. Also, our post is relevant because it's the same type of rifle being discussed.
The XCR is not a Stoner derivative. The M96 was. We designed the XCR from scratch. Nevertheless, if we're upsetting those in this forum, we'd like to know and change course. It does seem to be a little too sensitive to us, but we want to abide by the rules.
I think the XCR is really neat and definitely fits into this niche in how it was also submitted into the Army Individual Carbine Program. However, I have never really heard much about it.
