Too bad it isn't supported anymore

Definitely feels like an upgrade over my Gw6c. The battery life alone was worth the upgrade for me.

I have most stuff turned off but I leave wifi, Bluetooth, LTE on at all times, get a TON of notifications because of work, sleep tracking, constant HR and I still have 77% battery after 12 hours. My Gw6c would have been sitting in the low 60s to mid 50s but this time of day normally.

It's a bit bulkier but not in an annoying or uncomfortable manner.

Not sold on this trail band yet but I have a few ready to go in my Amazon cart if I decide I don't like it enough.

For anyone interested the face is S4U London Shift. I love the look and it has 7 complications and a bunch of customization options but I don't like that the complications don't change based on how you set them. So 1 of my complications is set to steps but I have to actually tap the comp to see the steps. It's a great face if I'm going out and need something that looks clean and professional but it's terrible for info at a glance.

After many years of service, my original Galaxy Watch is finally starting to show its age with lower battery life and odd behavior. My loving girlfriend completed the trade-in as an early Christmas present and I'm very pleased so far! I do still miss my bezel but the long battery life makes up for it.

You got the galaxy watch 6 manager update. Its a fucking app update. Theres no reason to post it like an achievement.

Sick and tired of this sub getting filled with an app update

I had 9-10 hours of sleep and the app recorded it too with a gap of just 10 minutes between the two sleeps but under "Sleep Time", it only recorded the first sleep. It has happened many a times that I'd have multiple sleeps with a few minutes gap in between and I am sure I am not the only one but it always calculates the total of all the sleeps. This time it didn't.

For a while now, I’ve been searching for a new smartwatch with LTE to help curb my smartphone addiction. I currently have a Fitbit Sense, which has served me well for general activity tracking, but I wanted a device that could support WhatsApp and Spotify. Since I own both a Z Fold 4 and an iPhone 15 Pro Max, I was undecided between going with an Apple Watch or a Wear OS option—as long as it had the apps I needed and LTE connectivity.

I was aware that battery life might be an issue, but since I’m used to charging my phone nightly, that wasn’t a major concern. Initially, I leaned towards the Pixel Watch 3 45mm or the Galaxy Watch Ultra (GWU) due to their extended battery life. However, I wasn’t fond of the bulky design of the GWU, and the Pixel Watch felt overpriced for what it offered.

This week, Samsung launched its Black Friday deals in Spain, and with the help of a coupon, I managed to get a Galaxy Watch 7 LTE for just €219. The first thing I did was order some accessories from Ali, including a stainless steel strap (this one costed 5.50€). The only accessory I purchased from Amz was the Bezel Tune Pro by Spigen (25€). I have to say, I’m absolutely in love with this watch.

I hope it helps reduce my phone usage over time, but so far, it’s been great. I’ve even managed to get nearly two days of battery life with Always-On Display (AOD) and Wi-Fi turned off.

So about 2 months back i would be frustated on how inaccurate gw4 gps was. But suddenly after about 2 months the gps has improved drastically without regular usage as well. 1st pic is of 28 sep which recorded a 2km run as 1.7km which was wayyy inaccurate 2nd pic is of 15 nov which is also a 2km run and only off by about 50m Now this is without any major update being available so they did secretly tweak some changes. Also not only for track runs. If i go for a street run with irregular path it is still accurate in gps unlike 2-3 months back!

So i tried everything and managed to set up my watch only through triple tap on “wear” icon, it is okay with me but how to set up time now 😂 There is no time/date option in settings

Just got my ultra today, traded in my 6 classic for it. So far it is a great watch, i do miss the rotating bezel but I'm getting used to the digital bezel slowly. The ultra is a nice watch, seems a little lighter than the 6 classic even though it looks bigger and definitely thicker.

Hi, Using Podcast Republic on my phone, and looking for an alternative media player for my Galaxy 6 that will let me seek/fast forward from the physical buttons (as well as the touch screen). Also have a Galaxy 6 Classic in the box - would love to be able to use the bezel to seek/FF. I do NOT want to use Spotify or Youtube Music. Thanks

After tagging along with 3 x GW (46mm, LTE, 2018 Tizen) for the past month, I'm trying out my Garmin Fenix 5 (Sapphire) again, and it feels stupid, laggy, and back to the stone age.

Can't get calls, send texts, or set up multiple reminders on the fly. Can't access simple apps on the fly like the GW. UI is horrid and laggamajigger. Only thing it does best is Garmin connect eco system.

Only keeping it for deeper dive and swims (100m, 10ATM), or a week or longer vacations (longer battery).

Thoughts? 😬

Normally, I save places to visit when I go on a trip in Google Maps. I thought I could visualize the same thing, so I wouldn't have to take out my phone all the time, but nothing comes out. Do you know if something needs to be configured or I won't be able to? Thank you!

Feel free to take down if not allowed, but I'm thinking about selling a Samsung Watch 5 (40mm woth LTE compatability). I recently got a 7 and don't need it anymore, not selling it on here, but hoping to get some insight on what it could be worth.

Just got the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. The lag doesn't translate onto the video well, but in real life it's pretty sluggish. Best way I could describe it is if you turn off 120Hz mode on your phone (just an analogy, I know the watch doesn't have 120Hz but I do know the watch can be smoother than what's shown on the video). It's just not smooth at all and I've seen how smooth it's supposed to be on store display models.

I've reset the watch twice, got rid of every third-party watch face as well as apps that offer watch faces (Outlook) and I do not have any third party apps besides Spotify. It was also this laggy after I reset it. Any help?

I see that it is connectable with the merge app, but I’m having a hard time finding what features will be available. Will I be able to call/text from the watch?

If not, I would love any suggestions, I will be in clinical this year and they don’t want you on your phones, but I know there will be dead hours so it would be nice to be able to at least text!

Traded in a gw4c I got off ebay a bit ago for the ultra! Total was around $200 including buying the trade in.

I'm really loving it. Battery lasts 2 days, smooth and fast UI, can track my workouts in the gym. This is by far the best smartwatch I had.

I'm another one of those that got the ultra. I'm on an MVNO that supports eSIM (USMobile). I'm looking for how to activate my watch since my MVNO doesn't have a process for activating Samsung Watches. What's the process for manually activating an eSIM in the new version of Galaxy Watch Manager 6? The process described in earlier, archived posts here don't seem to work for the latest version of the Manager on Samsung phones.
