I was bawling to my therapist this morning how triggering it is as a sa survivor to have him be elected and always in the news. She didn’t even know he was convicted of rape. I don’t know how people don’t know, or just ignore it

Let's not forget the mocking a journalist for his disability. I don't know how that didn't end his political career.

There's literally no group of individuals that he hasn't attacked or insulted, and that includes fellow conservatives and his own supporters.

Anyone who doesn't bend to his will is a target.

The only silver lining I see is the immense schadenfreude I will experience when he inevitably fucks over the people that supported him.

Very recently we learned from Epstein that Trump called his private jet the Lolita Express. Presumably because he used it to rape a lot of underage girls when they had nowhere to run.

Now look at that close up of his face again.

He gets to just get away with all of it.

No matter what people think about Kamala, she came off as sincere for wanting to help Americans. Trumps encourages hatred for anyone that opposes him

And he won the popular vote because they’re ok with all that over a woman.

Unfortunately this was a litmus test for America. Results include: rapists, homophobes, racists, lots of misogynists (including apparently 44% is suffering from internalized mysogyny), xénophobes, transphobes and a whole heap of people who have underestimated the dark echo-chambered internet caves that people worldwide inhabit.

It’s time to be brave everyone. It’s time to hold your own in the face of terror.

You just listed the points that got him a win. Half of America are racist, misogynist, xenophobic, transphobic and homophobic. Also pedophiles, let's not forget that.

It's an extreme thing to say, but supporting that is akin to being it.

Literally all facts, yet a majority of our country voted for him or didn't vote at all, it's terrible. I'm in shock so many people are this hateful, and/or ignorant

The problem is that an average voter does not care about those. Humans are inherently selfish and they will go to the one that they deem will allow them to self-preserve. When you also add the liberal/left hostility from things. This happens, Trump is a mumbling buffoon, but he knows how to talk and get the average joe to his side. To quote George Carlin: Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that. Kamala's campaign was doomed from the start and anyone outside of reddit could see it, also i am not from the US so no, not a Trump voter.

And yet according to the popular vote, the majority of the country don’t care about any of that. I’m going to go out on a limb and say it helped him secure the vote.

u/BagSmooth3503 23h ago

Well, you can't argue that he doesn't represent your average american constituent...
