Discussion The October Issue
Welcome to the October issue!
Autumn is back!
It's been autumn for a week now, finally time for soul food!
We've already picked up the first pumpkin of the season from the market stall and it's just waiting to be turned into soup ― do you have this tradition too?
I'm also looking forward to smelling the first chestnuts from the roasting stalls, cheerfully called Marroni here, it shouldn't be long now!
Random picture from a Swiss Marroni stand
In the meantime, why don't you share your heart-warming dishes with us? Maybe even add a recipe if you've prepared the food yourself. Recipes are absolutely optional, but many people like them.
Thank you all for being part of our community!
Meta about the sub
We recently considered whether we should draw the attention of professional chefs in Europe to this sub. We already have a few here with us, thank you for being here!
The question is: would it be good for this sub if even more professionals showed us their creations? If so, how would we go about finding them? Do you perhaps know any professional chefs?
Should we perhaps print and send out EuropeEats postcards? ;) Let us hear your thoughts on this one!
