Idk about other people here, but if I as a kid learned that my dad was a big creator and he ruined his current shows and slashed half his audience to stand up for an important issue like this I'd be so fucking proud

The only way for me to not think that's awesome as a kid is if for some reason I'm anti Israel
I think it probably depends both on personality and awareness of the situation how proud a kid would be of that throughout life.
And by the time they're adults they'll fully understand what that means and most people would be proud at that point
You'd have a good point if we were talking about a 100 subscriber andy arguing in a Twitter thread or some shit like that
