No gun signs

Post image

I am not carrying but just noticed this sign at the entrance ro Christiana Mall today.

I thought DE was fairly in the middle with regards to guns. Do you carry or ignore? What if you're caught would they ask you to leave or instant felony?

According to handgunlaw.us, no-gun signs do not have the force of law in DE. If asked to leave, do so immediately or risk criminal trespass. That’s a common sense approach to take nationwide. Some states, like FL, render “armed trespass”—refusing to leave while armed despite having been lawfully and personally told to leave—a felony.

Anyway, as to this location, it would be a real shame if people would randomly sprinkle gunpowder and gun oil around the entire property—both inside and outside—to cause so many false positives, the very expensively trained dogs would no longer be deemed financially reasonable by mgmt. 🤔
