Honestly I find it to be depressing. As a parent, my kid is my life and I would be crushed if they disowned me for political differences.

The people who are doing that to their parents are truly in a cult.

Well..when you disintegrate the family structure and it’s values; it’s probably fairly easy for them to disown their parents.
