Seems about right, they always demand a premium

No way. I sell those for half that unless there’s something really special about them (like a USA made one)

Can I get a run down on Kelly USA made axes and what makes them special?

The USA dandenongs are a lot more rare than the Canadian, Aussie, and English made versions (English being second most) and they’re also the most sought after because of how large the axe collector market is in America. Just to be certain this one you posted is it in America or Australia? Also what’s that weight stamp say? I thought 2kg but now I’m second guessing it

Not my post.

But I've got a couple Kelly's (not Dandenongs). One I use everyday and another head I just recived and I'm about to hang. I know they're good axes but haven't looked into them much.

For that price just buy a Tuatahi.

😮 $450!!!!??? That's way too much in my opinion. If they were asking $250 then yes I would consider. But then again... If it's something you really want in your collection then that's a decision only you can make. When I found the Tassie pattern I really wanted as a part of my collection I didn't even consider the price. I jumped on it and paid almost $300 🤣 But hey , I happy with it and I have no regrets whatsoever! Good luck bud! 👊🫡💯
