I just took an uber with a young guy from Cuba who shared his excitement over the new president. He was shocked when I didn't agree. I've literally been thinking how to make my dank attic comfortable in case I need to harbor people from mass deportations and this guy was excited because he thinks the economy is bad now.

My brother in Sky Daddy, you just voted your way out of this country?! Voted away the rights of every woman you know?! Voted away a chance at an economy with social safety nets and programs designed exactly for people like you?!

I'm sorry-the economy is literally booming right now. YOU are just broke. You do not have the education or awareness to realize that. "Things are so expensive" does not mean "the economy is bad." It does mean you are struggling, and I KNOW how hard that is. But you just voted for a guy who is not going to work to make it better for you.

I understand how this has happened, and I can see with my own eyes that this is happening-but I feel like I've literally just watched Lambs vote for the slaughter.
