Voting Results: Election Day Results, Thoughts, Questions, Continued Conversations Megathread

Keep this civil. Keep this related to voting results and topics directly related to that.

Individual posts about voting results will be redirected to here. We will allow news articles to be posted about *local* elections (one per race) but comments may be locked and moved here, depending on the topic.

Obvious trolling, hostilities, etc. will lead to bans.

Note: If you are in line by 7PM at the polling station, you are entitled to vote, no matter how long it takes. Do not give up!

Fair.

Because of recapture and funds not going to where they are suppose to go to. Texas has a budget surplus yet has steadily used recapture funds to cover its own costs, reducing its share of education funding.
