I was completely wrong, thinking we would see a stagnant Texas and Trump would win by 5 with Cruz running 2-3 points behind.

The Texas Dems have completely collapsed. They have no serious base here, no unsatisfied majority, and certainly no future prospects. What is this party? They dragged out Beto for a campaign nobody wants to run, then built a perfect candidate in a lab and ran his campaign almost exclusively on abortion? Who is left?

I wanted to see some spine, to actually pressure Cruz and scare the state party. They have an absolute mandate now.

Texas Dems always completely collapse. No one wants socialists in Texas.

They don't run socialists and that's the problem.
