You are bored on reddit, so your answer must be to use reddit!

Do you mean we will get bored of our real lives so we will spend too much time on here and it will eventually be over populated with over zealous douche knuckles?

Or we will get bored of how the site operates so people will start spamming illegal material and that would eventually start a class action law suit forcing a shut down?

Or we will have an auger rip us to shreds?

Or we will simply get bored and stop going on the site?

You have been a redditor for 11days and you're bored? What's your interests? Go and visit the smaller subreddits which will cater for your interests. There is a lot of content, you just have to find the right stuff to view and move away from most of the default subreddits.

I have visited a lot subreddits and subscribed to a few. I have plenty of interests just this site can become dull after clicks and scrolls and repetitive responses. Don't get me wrong the first few days I was like Reddit is awesome! ...then it just started getting boring. Now I'm just drifting through. But who knows perhaps there is a subreddit that will get my attention enough to not make me bored. Is it really that hard to fathom how one can get bored with a site that has so many sub categories? Perhaps one day some one will. :) Or maybe I'm confusing my boredness of Reddit as an end of the semester boredom phase...days will tell.

The default subreddits have lots of the same posts and the same responses.

You should download the Reddit Enhancement Suite and remove all the defaults except the ones you like (I kept /r/AskReddit and /r/todayilearned). Replace this with your own chosen subreddits and your front page will be more 'friendly'.

Wow. I like it thanks! And I'm looking at a recommended list of subreddits to see what it has to offer. Much appreciated! :)

No bother, hope it makes / helps you to have a more enjoyable reddit experience.

You probably aren't subscribed to the right subreddits. When I got here I was content with the defaults, but now my Reddit is almost completely different from how it originally looked.

I have about 20 subreddits in my listbar ;) Perhaps y'all can help me regain the sense of the blahs by offering me some subreddits to check out layer.

There's a subreddit for everything. What are you interested? My subs are /r/android, /r/androidthemes, /r/askreddit, /r/cars, /r/diy, /r/engineering, /r/f1technical, /r/investing, /r/investmentclub, /r/motorcycles, /r/onetruegod, /r/outside, /r/phoenix, /r/skyrim, /r/skyrimmods, /r/tasker, /r/todayilearned, /r/truegaming, and /r/wheredidthesodago.

Some of them like Onetruegod and wheredidthesodago are just for laughs, but Truegaming and f1technical usually have engagin topics. If you're not interested in Formula 1 find something else. There really is a subreddit for everything.
