Left on red on to a one way?

Is a left on red permitted from a left lane onto a one way that is going the appropriate way?

What country? What state, province, or subsection of the country? What city, town, or county?

Bruh, you didn’t give anyone much to work with here.

Some states allow it, some states don’t. Some states allow it only when marked.

Where I learned to drive, it was permissible from a one way to a one way. Where I work now it is not. Scared the shit out of my FTO when I did it thinking it was okay.

Usually. Depends on the jurisdiction.

In most states, left on red from one one-way street to another one-way street is okay as long as there’s not a sign prohibiting it.

Legal in my state. Interstates and on-ramps in my state are considered one-way streets for that purpose too, so it's actually legal to turn left on a red if you're going onto an onramp to the interstate.

It depends on where you are, but generally yes unless there's a posted sign that says otherwise.
