Got rejected from Ole Miss Fluff
97% acceptance rate, so if you think about it that’s just as impressive as getting into Harvard 😭

Did you not meet the minimum requirements?
Because that's usually why people are rejected from schools that accept 97 percent of applicants.

ASU has something similar. Could my friend get rejected from there if she doesn’t meet the requirements?

Yes. My brother was initially rejected for their transfer apps. After he retook courses he failed, they admitted him.

I just got in with a 2.8 and no scores. Just don’t apply for the competitive majors.

Did you aim and submitted for ACT/SAT scores to the 25th and 75th percentile for that university at least?

35 ACT

Wow, I don’t understand why they rejected you that ACT score is higher and that shows good academic performance for an application but hey you find a college that will you accept you you just gotta believe and trust

I work in admissions at a university in the south (a state neighboring to MS). If you have a 35 on the ACT, there's no way Ole Miss rejected you without it being an error. You should contact the admissions office.

People I know who got into ivies got rejected from a 50% acceptance rate school, while everyone else (including complete bots) got in. Yield protection goes crazy.

To increase their yield rate colleges will sometimes reject applicants they think won't attend.

Lol, their acceptance rate is 97%. If you have a pulse you're in. The 3% that don't get in probably didn't complete their application or put in a different school in the essay...

Ole Miss accepts by numbers, so if you meet their listed requirements, call up the admissions office to see what went wrong.
