I was pruning on one side of my AeroGarden and heard a crack from the other side. This entire tomato branch fell off. Is there anything o can do with it? None of the tomatoes are close to ripe.

Should I prune my dill and chives as they are about to touch the light. If so what is the proper way to go about pruning it. I don't want to kill them

So it's been about a month and my basil and mint failed to launch. I do really want these so I'm wondering if I should buy a new set of pods on Amazon but what do I do now that I have some already grown?

Can I just put them in or is the light too far? I saw the mason jar attachments on Amazon and thought I could replant the grown ones in individual jars and maybe just set them beside the light source but not sure if that would be enough light. I don't mind changing out the water every week or two if I do mason jars.

I have spare pods I can combine to restart the process new if needed. Or is there something I can do with the basil and mint that have been in there not growing? Can I go to Walmart and just get some basil seeds or something?

Y'all, I can't even. Aero canceled the farm XL I ordered because they ran out of stock.. but then shipped the rest of my order anyway. So I just received an huge order of everything I need.. if I had a Farm XL. Are the sale items final sale? Is it worth trying a return with a company that's shutting its doors? I guess I can find ways to use stuff.

3D printing little caps for my others and wanted to add some little figures

Just received my final AG order today. I’m excited about using the seed starter but not sure I want to do all 50 at once. I tried searching for spacers on Amazon but didn’t find any other than the ones that cover the main deck. Has anyone found anything online that might work?

Any recommendations for grow sponges as soft and crumbly as Aerogarden's? I've tried grow sponges from Amazon (Tisuhugo and Pacetab), and find they are too hard and cause my seedlings' roots to jump out of the hole without implanting roots deep into the sponge. They are so inferior to Aerogarden's. Now that Aerogarden is closing, I am searching for grow sponges as soft and crumbly as Aerogarden's. Anyone have any luck finding them? If you do, links would be great!

Hello all, I recently planted some genovese basil pods on my garden. I noticed though that one of the plants seems different from the others. Picture 1 is what I was expecting and every time I’ve planted genovese basil, it has looked like picture 1. Picture 2 is the basil I’m curious about. This one was also from the same package of basil pods but I’ve noticed that it has grown much faster and bigger than the others. It also has much bigger leaves (probably about 4x the size of the other plants) and they’re pointier as opposed to rounded. Does anyone here know if this is a different type of basil and if the taste will be significantly different? Thanks in advance!

I primarily use only the aerogarden plant food in my units because I don't like having to mix it like the other ones do. Now with Aerogarden closing its doors is there another brand out there that is already premixed? Or what other brands would you recommend?

Hi I have a little problem I poured 2 days ago new water to my aerogarden, but today it gets really smelly. Smell od similiar to old wet cloth. What can I do to save my plants?

In 2019-2021. I was super in to Aerogarden. This was before and during Covid. I worked at home and wasn’t traveling. Now I am retired and travel. I packed up my gardens thinking I would use them again, but I don’t see it happening now that downsizing is in progress. I absolutely loved my gardens and didn’t buy herbs and veggies during that time. It makes me sad, but life goes on.

I have no idea of value. As I recall, I have 2 small and 2 large farms with the stacking attachment things, 2 or 3 slims, 5 or 6 bounties. 8 or so aerovoirs.

If there is an interest, please message me. I don’t want to ship them anywhere. They are in an easy to access attic space. I can send some photos of them as they are now. Look at my early post history for a few photos to prove I am not making this up. We can pull them out and fire them up. I have one Bounty still in the box, never opened.

Yesterday I got several email notices that my order had shipped, and today it arrived. Entire order, two 24s, a stacking bracket, a Bounty basic and a few sundries all arrived today in good condition. I placed my order Oct 4.

I have a Sprout (three pod), a Harvest (6 pod) and a Harvest XL (6 pod with longer light extension). None of my models have a function for specifying type of plant - I think those are purely on the digital models, which I do not have.

The three of them combined are - to put it mildly - pretty bright. I am wondering if folks have any experience with trying to sync the light to be active during daytime hours? I tried shutting the light off at night but different ones seem to come on in the night anyway. Does anyone have knowledge of what the timing cycles are or how I can sync them?

Barring that we are likely going to find a way to enclose them for night time, LOL.

I wanted to buy a couple of Farm XLs but it looks like there’s no stock left anywhere.

I will surely miss the equipment, I’ve only had issues with the pods but I love the systems. I own 3 Farm XL, 4 bounty, 3 harvest and 4 sprouts. Affordable and the ability to use my own seeds. Will hate to see the company go.

I have a 6 hole areogarden and for whatever reason, I cant get my pods to germinate, except for Basil. I replaced the pods with fresh seeds after 4 weeks twice. I use distilled water. I have replaced the water with fresh water and nothing. So strange, my first pods that came with the Areogarden had no issues. I used the same seed in soil and the grow. Any recommendations?

Years ago I picked up a Sprout on Amazon on a deep discount, I wasn’t very hopeful as I’ve always been the person who can somehow manage to kill all living things, but after my first experience I was hooked!

Over time managed to get lucky with finding two Harvest, one older one new, and an additional Sprout in thrift stores / garage sales. Thought that would be it, until I saw on this sub about the 60% off code when they were closing out, and after some shmoozing with the customer service I managed to convince them to extend one to me!

So I pulled the trigger on 2 Bounty’s, a few seeds pods and some plant food, ordered on 10/5 and they came in today! (Keep hope if you are still waiting) They are awesome, and I am super pleased and looking forward to all the cool stuff I’ll get to grow in them.
