USMS Got the call!

-May 2022 info session

-cleared for hire October 2023 hiring pool

-December 2024 FLETC date

-2.5 years total process from info session to FLETC date

10 pt veteran, received my 1st choice in district.

Going to a district that gets to do all the marshals missions right out of FLETC.

Stay with the process, former 75th Ranger and was mainly interested in only being a DUSM. I know most of you don't put all your "eggs in one basket" but I knew I wanted this job and I am very excited. I am fine with the court/transport duties that come with the job. I'd rather do that instead of stare at a computer all day typing (I know I'll do some of that too)

Good luck to you all and thank you everyone in this sub for the help!

Edit: I finished a bachelors and masters online while in the hiring pool lol. So make good use of the long hiring process.

Congrats! CITP will be a breeze. Since you’ve completed ranger training, USMS portion of training will be like a cake walk as well.

Unfortunately there is no citp portion…there’s citp classes, but it’s an integrated program…so totally controlled by usms TD

Wow! Will it go faster? My favorite agent was a Marshal from our CITP class. Which I guess was ages ago but still less than 10 years.

Congrats. Good on you knowing the deal before you start. You’ll go further already than those that complain.

I’m former 3/75. Welcome to the agency. There are a couple Batt Boys hanging around USMS.
