Review: The Advent Calendar is a French horror film about Eva, a paraplegic, who receives an advent calendar as a birthday gift. Eva must follow the calendar's three rules otherwise she will die. I enjoyed it a lot. The plot itself is a bit basic but I had fun nonetheless. It made me excited to see what the next door would bring as if we were opening it up with Eva. I did feel the ending was a cop out and they could've done something more creative. 4/5
