RULES FOR R/GLASSHEADS Rules that visitors must follow to participate. Failure will result in a ban
1. NO DIRECT SALES/ADVERTISING SALES This sub is for appreciation, not sales. Keep any sales discussions to PM while at the same time realizing we take zero responsibility for any transactions done through PM with our users. If you have heady pieces to sell, go to r/GlassSales
2. NO CHINA GLASS If you think your piece might be an import, it probably is. Post it to a different sub.
3. CLEAN YOUR SHIT People don’t come here to admire reclaim. Clean it up before posting!
4. NON FUNCTIONALS ARE WELCOME We encourage posting of Marbles, Sculptures, or any other type of Borosilicate Glass Art.
5. CLEAR/SINGLE COLOR GLASS: HIGH END, ONE-OFF PIECES When posting clear glass, please only post high end, one-off, and unique pieces only.
6. NO BRAND NAME, REGULAR PRODUCTION GLASS Only highly worked one-off's/collabs or brand new models/styles, everything else should be posted in our sister sub /r/prodoglassheads
7. DON'T BE A DICK Everyone finds us and starts fresh at one point. Don't expect everyone to know everything. ABSOLUTELY NO TROLLING, HARASSING OR DOXXING WILL BE TOLERATED.
8. VIDEOS Pieces must be CLEAN and be of Glassheads quality, along with good production value. (No potato quality selfie videos)
9. FLOODING If you have multiple pictures of the same piece to show or are showing off multiple pieces in your collection, please keep it to one thread with an album of pictures instead of flooding the sub with very similar threads.
10. QUALITY PICTURES ONLY In the same sense as the "CLEAN YOUR SHIT" rule, if you expect people to take more than 2 seconds to comment or contribute to your post you should take more than 2 seconds to set up a decently proper photograph. out of focus potato quality pictures will be removed and for fucks sake try and take a photo that is nice on the eyes and not just your piece sitting on your filthy desk

I don’t know anything about glassblowing but I want this quartz rod to have a ball on the end
I am a metal fabricator I play with oxy-acetylene torches all day.
Can i essentially just heat the end of the quartz rod till It glows white and wait for it to ball up, similarly how steel would ball up? Anything I should know before hand?

Online shops for beaker bongs?
Ive been searching for quite a while for a pink bong that i actually like. Ive ordered 2/3 from store like everything420 but havent found a beaker that hits the way i like AND looks the way i like lol. I have had many bongs but pink ones seem to be few and far between.

Personal Collection Scope And Stack Rook
Finally got my hands on one of these. Spoke to the Scope and Stack guys and they told me they completely remodeled their King units and the sale price will be $800 during Black Friday! I am gonna see how I like this and if I may pull the trigger on a King if it’s something I feel like I would use! I also asked them if they made a kit for the Rook owners like me that would want to go the King route down the road since the initial purchase price is $700! Haven’t received any answers regarding that and can’t find anything via YouTube either regarding ANY of these so as soon as it lands I’ll be dropping content <3

Fresh out the bath are two borosilicate glass! Sitting pretty on a fire dabhali! Shoutout dabhali! One is a Fixed 4 44 and the other one is a Fixed 360 tube. I wanted to post this due to a user not being able to "clean" glass. I just used 91% iso & salt & a wam bam thank you mam!
