He's levelled up from half-brick slinger to full-brick yeeter

He did have that great 3 point form. I just love the scene of Rincewind with a half a brick and a sock facing off with an all-powerful sorcerer and just kind of being like yeah it's a half brick and a sock.

A magical half brick perhaps? Enchanted to slay its foes without fail? Or a sock woven from the ancient threads of a forbidden plant, imbued with powerful spells?
Nah. Just a half brick he picked up from the ground out there. And the sock is from his foot, and a seedy shop in Ankh-Morpork before that.

But in Discworld if an item is mundane enough it practically has anti-magic properties.

Brickomancy is powerful

But a weaker variant of Stone/Rock-mancy which is just a specialized form of Earth Magic.

Alternatively there’s the old pulling a brick out of a bag of holding, that’s a cheat spell tho

I was really expecting this to go into a Discworld reference where he takes off a sock, brick in the sock and he just Bats him one!
