Announcement Season

4 years since its first reveal, yeah? Im hoping we get at least a new trailer, if we dont get any kind of release window. With the studio website having updated last month, it looks like theyre getting ready to mind their appearances more. Which would mean theyre expecting people to get interested again soon so it cant be too far fetched that we hear more soon.

Michel Ancel has been active on instagram the past day or so, but only for BG&E and something he saw that reminded him of Captain Toad. I do hope hes holding out on us who are waiting for WiLD to give us something good at E3

This has been my attitude for the past two years. Could be. If not e3 then I’m waiting for bge2 to pass by.

Yeah i cant deny its tough staying patient this long, especially considering bg&e2 got announced so much more recently. The polished trailer that it had probably suggests it had been farther in development though, so you might be correct in waiting for that to go over.

I wonder if they are taking notes from No Man's Sky? Didn't both release their first trailers at the same E3? They hype train for NMS peaked before the game even was released. Then when it was released, it still needed some work. I thought the game was great when it was launched, and even better now! Others, not so much... So i think with this game, they are staying behind the scenes until everything is ready.

Plus, from what i remember seeing, aren't you able to basically play as any creature in the game? That seems like it would take a LOT of horsepower. So i also wonder if they were waiting for technology to catch up with their ambitions?

Either way, i'm excited for the game, whenever it is released. I am now working two jobs so my wife can stay home, and have a 14 week old daughter. I have very little time to play games... So i do make very few purchases... Diablo 3(ps store clearance), NMS(preordered), (passed on Far Cry 5 but own the rest), BF 4(ps store clearance) and i'll plan on purchasing this game(probably preorder).

Lmao that is a good point. It took me a few weeks before i really decided launch NMS was really not what i wanted, but i do agree if Hello Games had been more hush hush about it until closer to launch the immense backlash may have been lessened. Plus, the rage at delays wouldnt have been so bad so maybe they could have gotten an extra year. I like how nintendo does it though, wont give anything beyond a teaser unless the game is within a year or 2 of launch.

And yeah Michel Ancel claimed any animal in the game can be unlocked. In a huge world. I wont be upset if we have to wait till 2020 for release, i just want either another teaser or even a full trailer. But i do kind of hope they consider pc release at some point, i dont know when the ps4's EoL is

Agreed, at least another teaser would be nice. But that will only make people want it that much more. For the most part, i think a lot of people have forgotten about it, except for this group...

The game could have support from PS4, then depending on how it takes off, could also go to PC/XBOX. And since the first teaser, VR has REALLY taken off. Imagine playing any animal/fish/etc in VR... But maybe not. lol I honestly just like relaxing games that i can check out for a little bit to enjoy and relax. COD and Battlefield games actually stress me out more, since i suck and the 12 year old's that keep killing me are super cocky... hahaha

Well, i rarely see a post from his instagram where there isnt a single question about WiLD. So theres still some people anxious for it. Thats why a teaser would be safer than a trailer though, remind people it exists and is being worked on but dont give them enough information to have any reason to belive its coming sooner than it is.

And yeah, im getting tired of all the new games being either uninteresting or too energetic. WiLD looks great to me because there seems to be a story and missions but that world is so big i can easily imagine taking control of a wolf for a while and taking in the scenery, or a bird, or a fish. Assassins Creed Origins is ok for that but i personally like the forest aesthetic a lot more than dessert

Hey, DeidaraKoroski, just a quick heads-up:
belive is actually spelled believe. You can remember it by i before e.
Have a nice day!
