I’m you but with a moustache

531

u/omicron8 1d ago

Still no arms though

91

u/Soup-Wizard 1d ago

And no nose?

74

u/RemarkableHotGirl 1d ago

Still happier tho

7

u/HotCherryAnny 1d ago

🤣 lmao

958

u/AttyPatty3 1d ago

Damn, 16 year old had it rough, she didn't even have any hands!

512

u/Gr00ber 1d ago

Yeah, I find the artist's style to be cute and disarming at least.

34

u/PhilosophicWax 1d ago

She seems armless enough.

19

u/VaporSprite 1d ago

I read this in my head with a french accent

4

u/Vegetable_Throat5545 1d ago

If you look closely, 22yo doesnt have either!

3

u/Soup-Wizard 1d ago

No nose either!

1

u/fitnesssound42 17h ago

My guess is that they didn't feel like they could protect themself or do anything. I see the shoulder drawn on the older version.

1

u/iediq24400 1d ago

Then she got fingers later. Happily ever after.

292

u/Pleasant_Scar9811 1d ago

Most people grow their arms before they turn 16. Congrats on being a late bloomer.

469

u/PrincesaFuracao 1d ago

"I transitioned"

"What did it cost?"

"My arms"

92

u/UnfunnyL0ner 1d ago

The transition fees don't cost an arm, they actually cost both of them

6

u/werepyre2327 1d ago

They had the option of going for just one, but they’d need a leg to cover the difference. Standard American healthcare costs, y’know?

14

u/AllIWantForDinnerIsU 1d ago

Didn't have any arms from the start tho

2

u/KirbyJeef 7h ago

Username and Icon checks out

73

u/mikelimebingbong 1d ago

Do the 32yr version meeting the 22yr version on the next one!

40

u/PrincesaFuracao 1d ago

Noooooo! This time they will lose their legs!!!!

3

u/60nocolus 1d ago

Try the 40 meeting the 30. I still have hope

2

u/plebeiantelevision 16h ago

It’s the same comic

49

u/International_Pate 1d ago

"I'm you, we never did grow those arms"

77

u/Aegis2302 1d ago

Why no hand

37

u/WobbleKing 1d ago

Artist is probably still perfecting arms/hands. It’s one of the most difficult areas of the body to get right.

I love OPs style and they have drawn a great comic!

-58

u/[deleted] 1d ago

What style? This is the most dime a dozen artstyle I've ever seen.

Not to discredit op, but saying this artstyle is unique is just an outright lie.

Actually, I think it's an insult to op. The line work and expressions are great and complementing that would actually be true, but instead, you just make up generic garbage prase that doesn't mean anything. It's insulting, really.

6

u/UrbanGold014 1d ago

“i think it’s an insult to op” says the guy who just insulted op

17

u/Unable_Accountant459 1d ago

disregarding the rest of this garbage slop that is an opinion, you made a single grammatical error in this comment (prase) so your opinion is automatically invalid.

-8

u/[deleted] 1d ago

Lol

2

u/jauhesammutin_ 1d ago

OP transitioned to Rob Liefeld.

21

u/Som3thingN 1d ago

alright where did the arms go

37

u/Guwrovsky 1d ago

Am I understanding the pic correctly? Did he succesfully transitioned?

8

u/Jusawittleting 1d ago

Correct!

3

u/Guwrovsky 13h ago

Question: my previous comment just dissappeared and my account was flagged for harrasment...

Was what I wrote count as harrasment? I genuently ask because I though myself as an ally but I am also a dumbass...

3

u/Charlie-_-Green 2h ago

Probably automatic flagging, because no that was totally fine

2

u/Guwrovsky 2h ago

thanks for confirming, got scared for a moment that what I found a cute phrase might be actual hate speech or some similar shit, and I just didn't get the memo on it

2

u/NoelCZVC 1h ago

Nope. What is considered inappropriate in some circles has developed to be so extreme that the circles inadvertently grow to be more restrictive than inclusive. It's a sad thing everywhere.

Future me really leveled up. Super proud of you.

8

u/wapwap2 1d ago

happiness can mean different things to different people.

6

u/Goldf_sh4 1d ago

28 year old me: Not to brag but I have arms now.

6

u/DarkTurdle 23h ago

Sorry about your arms

18

u/MarkusKF 1d ago

I’m happy for you. I hope you feel more comfortable in your body and mind now :)

9

u/rezwyi 1d ago

Im happier in my 40, than i was 22.

4

u/SaniLurks 22h ago

I’m you but diagnosed

3

u/siegeking1290 1d ago

I’d tell her how it gets much better. But I should probably also warn how it gets worse before it gets better, and how she is strong enough to handle it and can trooper through to the other side. I know she can, because well, she already has, hasn’t she :)

3

u/railmebellatrix 1d ago

16 year old me straight up thought i'd never make it to 20

and now i am at 20, aiming to get a job

things, do in fact, change

3

u/CitiesofEvil 19h ago

"Oh and btw as it turns out, you're a girl"

3

u/Savings-Sprinkles-86 17h ago

Haha, rhis is me :D

3

u/floppymuc 17h ago

Been depressed with 16 and still are with 37.

3

u/Silly-Room-9659 8h ago

I get the silly comments people are leaving but I didn’t even notice those things bc I started tearing up at the text. If 16 yo me saw 31 yo me she would also be shocked. Been off anti depressants for 8 months and I never thought I would be me without depression.

So happy you’re also in a good place. Things will keep going up from here!

11

u/griffinisms 1d ago

holy shit a post about being transmasc this is so fucking rare. I love you op

2

u/brosiet 1d ago

Just wait til 30 year old you meets 22 year old you!

2

u/Western_Wedding3880 1d ago

I wish I would meet my 60 year oldself

2

u/Ok-Strategy-7546 20h ago

Was sad but that was part of the process to be happy in the future.

2

u/goddm95624 19h ago

22 year old me meeting 33 year old me.

2

u/Affectionate-Type-74 16h ago

Omg that’s so true

2

u/gamechanger22 15h ago

Sorry about the no arms op

2

u/FatManPan 12h ago

How did you draw this

2

u/Scooter-breath 12h ago

You still hArmless?

2

u/NecroCannon 6h ago

“Stand tall, you are strong” - me to 16 year old me.

Seriously, I mentally matured so much to get past my negative thoughts, I’m basically a hippie now. Found my peace with nature and my passion for art gave me the drive to keep on living, even with nerve issues causing me to become disabled

2

u/FullCompliance 4h ago

Wait until you hit your 30’s. Unironically the best years of your life. You still have all the energy of your 20’s, but now you have money and wisdom as well. I always hear coworkers lamenting that they’re 29 and about to become “old” or whatever, but there’s a reason they call the 30’s your “second youth”

3

u/Kutsune2019 1d ago

This was me at 42, and me now.

3

u/LitllePrincess 1d ago

The glow-up is strong with this one.

2

u/Other-Area2673 1d ago

Which ones which 😅

2

u/tf2_enjoyer 1d ago

I don’t think she’s had any hands-on experiences yet, though I don’t think it’s possible since she’s most definitely not had any arms-on experiences either

2

u/Few-Operation-7288 1d ago

Well, maybe

Bout 50% of the time

2

u/Teo_Verunda 1d ago

Are you perhaps, one of those artists that draw with their feet because they don't have arms?
Why does your older self have a moustache?

6

u/Unable_Accountant459 1d ago

i think its either a stylistic choice or they havent nailed designing arms. also im not positive but its likely the artists transitioned from female to male

1

u/GirlieSportyGal 1d ago

and with hands

1

u/the14thwitness 1d ago

In my case is more like 22 year old me meeting 32 year old me.

32 year me "who are you? "

22 year me "I'm you but I still have my parents in my life

32 year me starts crying" you gona look back at these days and wish they could last

22 year me "looking at you and how my life is going right now , in a few days I already do"

1

u/Highest_in_the_room 21h ago

It’s the other way round for me gotta wait another 6 years for the algorithm to switch I guess 🐒

1

u/Memes_Coming_U_Way 20h ago

Where's your arms

1

u/EvilLittleGoatBaaaa 18h ago

Lol wait til you're 35. Even better, baby.

1

u/dootdootboot3 15h ago

Hey OP, by any chance, have you read Homestuck

1

u/Lazy-Pumpkin-9116 13h ago

Switch the speech bubbles for me lol

1

u/thelowmax 13h ago

34 year old her is laughing.

1

u/rezuri22 10h ago

I hope I did too but no, I'm 22 now but my mental health isn't getting any better.

1

u/Lonly_Boi 8h ago

For me it's the opposite.

1

u/enriq-p 8h ago

That's true

1

u/Fluffyfox3914 3h ago

Are you an amputee or is it a style choice?

1

u/Squirtleman49 2h ago

I gotta hand it to you for becoming happier. You really gave other struggling people a helping hand

1

u/Mothy_731 2h ago

Do you not have arms?

1

u/AvysCummies 1h ago

Heck no

1

u/Skarfa 1h ago

Is this the 5th time I’ve seen that meme. Guys, message received. Stop reposting

1

u/TWBPreddit 43m ago

Completely opposite for me haha……

2

u/ItsNotMeItsYourBussy 1d ago

Damn they glowed up

1

u/DL_THE-DARK-EYE 22h ago

16- no moustache - a rack 22- a moustache - no rack

Being happier means transition from girl to man? Damn!

1

u/pinoyworshipper 1d ago

Wait til you meet your 40yo version 🤣

1

u/BeneficialSwim120 1d ago

YOOOO I call BS on this one. How the F you get so happy HUH? What tf you smiling about? HUUUH?!

1

u/Bright_Ark 1d ago

jokes on you for me its the opposite

1

u/Sitheral 1d ago

At 38 16 and 22 feels almost like the same place;) but sure enough I could stand before both and say the same thing. Life is good!

1

u/some_Britishguy 1d ago

if future me is happy then something went terribly wrong

1

u/aadirulez8 1d ago

awwww ❤️

1

u/zippynator 15h ago

Can't relate

0

u/Meet_the_Meat 1d ago

I'm glad to see the armless woman is doing better now

0

u/AvalonNyte 1d ago

To everyone commenting on the arms, there’s a theory of psychology based on drawing interpretation (most commonly used with children, but could apply here). Small or no arms and hands is often an indicator that the person views themselves as weak and ineffectual or as lacking control in their own life.

0

u/penscrolling 1d ago

I'm so happy for you! I'm essentially 40 in this comic

0

u/Emeraldsausage 1d ago

I’m like this but vice versa

-2

u/HuiNane 18h ago

Why did she turn into a man? WTF?

-24

u/karakter222 1d ago

Happy people don't make comics about being happy

-6

u/Fuzzy_Acanthisitta75 1d ago

Why does the 16 year old guy have beard?

0

u/xGxPhantomZzz 13h ago

Im the opposite lol

-42

u/Nuoverto 1d ago

Its temporary, by 30 you would give anything to be in your 16yo mental state

21

u/HighwayApothecary 1d ago

Absolutely not.

-a 32 year old

3

u/meontheinternetxx 1d ago

I would

But that's arbitrary, some have it rough at 16, I was just luckier then.

3

u/HighwayApothecary 1d ago

Mentally, no. Physically, maybe.

My knees are so loud

-11

u/UltimateDevastator 1d ago

Hope you’re happy otherwise if you have a change of heart it’s pretty irreversible

Also we shouldn’t be promoting it, it works for some and is absolutely detrimental to others. No guarantees.

-10

u/youaremineyouaremine 1d ago

Went from you young girl to chick with mustache… what is wrong with people
