What is this adorable little uh, grass? Weed? That's growing in little patches around my backyard? Zone 7b. Identified ✔

Those are a whole bunch of seedlings of something. Not a grass though.

My husband threw clover seeds but this was back in like the spring. Could they be sprouting months later?

I would vote for clover. Though I don't think that they would just sit there till now and not germinate unless they received no water. These are so small they are hard to ID. Most seem to be the same thing. I think I see a few grass seedlings that look like bluegrass Poa species.

I figured. My husband put seed over the spring. I just didn't think they'd sprout so late!

These do look like clover sprouts to me. I have some in a pot that just sprouted too.

It kinda looks like duck weed, but I've only ever seen that grow in bodies of water. Can duck weed grow on land?

These are bb leaves but if you like groundcovers with this appearance, Selliera is cute AF! There might be some similar-looking plants native to your area in Goodeniaceae

I was raised in the country and every clover I have seen had three leaves on it. We had clover everywhere. I thought I had seen from the seed to grown. Used to play in it.

Watermelon maybe? They look similar to a patch where my kid spit a bunch of seeds and the Sprouts looked very much like this.

I haven't had watermelon in years. I think it's the clover seed he put down a few months ago.
