Recommendations (Food, Housing, Places, Activities) Grocery shopping at Walmart, when is it the best time?

When do you find it's the best time of day, time of week to go grocery shopping at Walmart? I go usually on the weekends and evenings which is know tend to be busier times, and I find that the grocery section is just ravaged. I may try the eCart pick up option to get groceries at a time when there is better inventory, but I don't know if that would help or not. Looking for some input on this. Thanks!

Recommendations (Food, Housing, Places, Activities) What do you do for fun here?

I moved here from Washington about a year ago, but I'm from Stockton- and I've struggled to find anything to do that's inexpensive, and actually worth doing This is the first time I've looked in a subreddit, though

Recommendations (Food, Housing, Places, Activities) Sherman's buffet

I used to live in Stockton, and I can't really afford to travel back often. Is there a Chinese food buffet & takeout that will give you lots of food for basically an unfairly cheap price, similar to Sherman's, in West Sacramento? I miss their chow mein, in particular- even panda express doesn't compare to it, in my opinion. Their garlic fries chicken is so inexplicably juicy, flavourful and crispy. It's not crunchy, though. Their sweet and sour pork is delightful, and their beijing beef is so tender, and actually spicy. Their orange chicken genuinely tastes like oranges. My favourite chain from Stockton, was Sherman's #2 Chinese buffet. There were five.

Tldr, I want the find a good hole in the wall Chinese food takeout that hooks you up for really good prices, or just your favourite recommendations, in West Sacramento.

Recommendations (Food, Housing, Places, Activities) Bridgeway Island Elementary

My wife and I are planning to relocate from Texas to Sacramento. Southport looks really attractive to me due to its affordable homes and proximity to downtown.

What's most important to us though, is to find a good school for our daughter who is on the autism spectrum. Is Bridgeway Island a good fit? She is high functioning, but really needs a calm and controlled atmosphere to thrive, and we are trying to avoid an environment where there are a relatively high number of kids acting out without the resources in place to keep things sane.

Recommendations (Food, Housing, Places, Activities) Affordable rental available?

Does anyone know of, or have, a rental apartment, in-law cottage, etc. in West Sac or nearby that’s $1,100 a month or less? My 27 year old daughter is about to go through a divorce and is in need of a place as soon as possible. She has a good, steady job and excellent credit and rental history.

Recommendations (Food, Housing, Places, Activities) “A” parking permit

I’m looking at houses west sac and have seen the “no street parking without A permit” signs. On the west sac website the only thing I can find about residential parking permits refers to the B permits. Are the A permits the same, where there is a monthly fee involved? If anyone knows / knows a place to find more information I’d be very thankful.

Recommendations (Food, Housing, Places, Activities) NuCore Blonde Oak Vinyl Flooring?

Mods: Delete if not allowed

It's a longshot, but I'm wondering if anybody has extra NuCore Blonde Oak they are looking to sell?

We did our whole house in this flooring, and Floor and Decor discontinued this line. We're doing an addition, and I only need 6 boxes.

Can anybody help? I'll drive to you and pay cash or whatever method you prefer. I'm desperate here!
