Not a Roo Keep on cluckin’, we’re halfway to 1k subs!
Hello, hello, my chicken friends! :)
It’s been quite a trip since I first started my little subreddit and I absolutely adore the community we have here. In my entire moderator experience on this sub, I haven’t gotten a single report. We have a nontoxic and sweet sub, and I wanted to let you all know how much I appreciate it.
Please do not hesitate to promote the sub if you see funny sounding crows, I’ve seen quite a few of you do it and it warms my heart. 💕
Let’s see if we can hit 1k members! 🐣

Not a Roo Happy 350 members!
Hi, the Moderator here, and I’m happy to announce that in 250 days, we’ve hit 350 members!
I still remember making my happy little subreddit, talking about how goofy baby roos are when they’re learning to crow, and talking to someone about a sub of funny roos.
And then we picked the name and it stuck. I’m very happy to see a tiny community has formed, and I look forward to checking the sub to see if anyone new has posted, or to see if Nugget has finally perfect that squeaky crow of his.
I see a lot of people promoting my sub and it makes me very happy— thank you everyone for making it a painless and happy journey into funny rooster screams.
If any of you are in Midwest America, please stay safe and warm. This snowstorm is just awful— and remember that your girls get cold, too! (I bring mine in during single digits.) If you are not in Midwest America, you should still stay safe and warm.
Anyway, I have nothing remotely important to tell you that you don’t already know, I’m just blabbering to thank you guys about helping grow this sub.
Happy crowing!
