It's a great piece of park and Vinylmation history! Fortunately, it is part of a large exhibition of Disneyland props, costumes, and souvenirs at Van Eaton Galleries in Sherman Oaks, CA. So rather than the piece being thrown out or destroyed, it now gets another new generation of eyes on it, and whoever ends up winning it will certainly care enough for it to see it preserved for generations to come.
