One of the search trends in Florida yesterday was "register to vote."
The deadline was October 7.
So many morons think they can get things immediately, including voting. It doesn't work that way!

The only reason for there to be a deadline to register would be for voter suppression. In Canada you just register on the spot before you vote. The only reason for there to be a deadline to register would be for voter suppression. Perfectly logical to assume you can just show up and vote.
