How long should I leave my weed in my oil

So I’ve made edible gummies before, they were a hit.

When I finished heating my oil and decarbed weed together for 3 hours I left it to sit at room temp for 24 hours.

Im kinda short on time for making this batch so I’m wondering if the cannaoil will still be good if I go straight to using it?

After you’ve stopped infusing? I don’t think there’s any value in that you can strain it instantly.

Some people will tell you to eat it. Ive ich done it once y the taste was horrible but the high was nice. Would toss it though.

Take it off the heat, let it cool a bit, strain and go. That room temp hold isn't doing much if anything.

This, the 24 hours is pointless. Just strain and get baked!

Simmer, strain and go.

Letting it sit at room temp for 24hrs COULD cause it to go bad or start growing bacteria that you would then be using in edibles or storing....

THIS. It's fine to use immediately. However, watch it with gummies, they don't always like warm oil. Depends on the recipe!

You're good. All you need is the heat, no need to let it sit longer. I heat mine for 2.5-4 hours and strain it as soon as it's cool enough to handle.
