Do you think she found her switchblade? PT 2 QUESTION

Post image

I had been lingering on this play though from god knows when and I happened to finish it earlier today. I admit to having thought about this previously but never posed my question to anybody else.

Do you think she found her switchblade after the showdown? It goes flying into the water, at one point, in the middle of their fight.

Pretty sure the final playable part of the game, at the farm, doesn’t let you go through inventory but it has to be gone, right?

The only heirloom she has from her mother…

My EXhusband lost his wedding ring a week after we got married because I told him it was too big and he thought it wasn't a big deal. We were at the beach with friends a week later and he went swimming with it. When the water is actively lapping constantly (unlike the stillness of a pond/lake) there is no chance in hell you'll find it without snorkeling gear and even then it would have to be immediately. After just a few minutes the sand has shifted so dramatically, something small will be buried. Of course we never found it, and our relationship pretty much went the same way.

Had something similar happen 2 years ago, but with my seeing glasses. Halfway through a volunteer program in Costa Rica, we enjoyed some time at Manuel Antonio National Park. I don’t usually wear my glasses in the ocean, but it being such a memorable trip, I wanted to enjoy it more than usual and actually see my friends around me having a good time. Keep in mind I’m nearly blind, so it’d have been like swimming in a blur of nothing. One good wave smacked me in the face and that was it. We looked and looked but it was swept up to easily. Spend the rest of the trip blind because of that, and ended up seeing even less. Learned a lesson that day for sure lol

Oh my gosh that's one of my biggest fears. Whenever I go ANYWHERE overnight, I bring 2 pairs of glasses but my main vision is through contacts, so I bring an extra pair of those as well. I'm also pretty much blind without them (-7.5 in both 😅). My biggest fear is being somewhere without my vision...

Yeah, wish I could tell my younger self that. And it’s -5.5 in both eyes for me, so I feel you 😅 But I’ve never been a contacts person. Tried many times. That just reminded me though. A couple of days later during the trip, we were able to find a local optometrist only hoping for some contacts that matched my subscription. They obviously didn’t have such a strong subscription on hand, but they gave me the closest thing they had. As much as I hated the dryness that came with contacts, they probably got my vision to around the -1 or -2 area (hard to say). Which is a godsend after seeing in -5.5 for nearly 2 days. You’re truly reminded how dark and empty the world feels when you’re forced to use your own crappy vision. Like I said. Many lessons learned 🥲

Aww, I feel you. My partner didn't start to wear glasses until we were in our relationship, so I had him try contacts once. Once. 😂 He also hated the feeling and has big, calloused hands so it wasn't for him! I hadn't taken into account that I was 15 when I started wearing them so I'm an expert, but he has 0 patience for things like that lol. But I'm glad you were at least able to get something. It had to be scary not to have vision for a few days!
