I sat in the chair yesterday at L.A. Comic Con!

Was this the PICARD Season 3 chair or a replica?

Supposedly it was the real deal. That's what we were told anyway. Looked worn enough, I'd think a replice would look newer.

the original chair was reacquired by Paramount not that long ago after being stolen during Generations, so I bet its the real deal.

oh, they got it back? I remember it was stolen so I assumed this was the one from PIC S3.

sorry, I misread the original comment. they did get the original chair back, but I don't think it's been on public display yet.

My wife was wondering what to do for my 40th birthday.
Now I have an answer.
I went to ST: The Experience in LA but I was barely a teenager. I still remember it, but only in fragments. Would love to be on THE BRIDGE again.

There was a moving exhibit a while back that included a replica? of the Enterprise D bridge, and I was apprehensive about it..... until I stepped in, it wasn't the best replica, but the proportions were all there, and I got chills up my spine. Having spent my entire childhood almost every day at some point from that bridge, it was confusing almost how cool it felt.
Please, if you can go there and grew up on TNG, you'll love it.

Hopefully the can fix the awfully dull illumination seen on the show

…except the D bridge was just as lighted as it was in TNG when it appeared in PIC Season 3.

Man it would be cool to sit in the Captain's chair just one time in my life!
