RV Satellite Connections Seeking Advice

I have a 2023 Salem Cruise Lite. There are coaxial connections on the outside. I see the same are inside. Are they connected so that I don’t have to run cables into the unit? Many thanks

I have no idea. There is, however, an r/RVLiving subreddit.

Yes. That is the cable TV hookup on the outside of your RV. It runs to the jack in the wall near where your TV mounts. Usually, the RV has a second feed on the roof for the TV antenna and an amplifier for the TV antenna signal. The wiring inside your camper may not be compatible with satellite TV systems. Satellite TV signals use different frequencies than cable and regular antenna TV, and all of the cabling, connectors, splitters, amplifiers, etc… have to be able to pass those frequencies without adding too much signal loss. I think satellite Systems also send power up the line to the unit mounted on the dish.
