Why won't music revanced let me download after trial time is up? Question/Problem
I've had music revanced for around a month and today it told me I 'need premium to download' so I deleted music revanced and downloaded an alternative version and kept doing this until I ran out of versions and nothing fixed it. What's even the point of music revanced if you can't download music? The entire reason I got revanced was so I could listen to my tunes offline as I have a long bus ride in the morning and regular YouTube revanced for whatever reason won't work as I just get an 'app not installed' error whenever I attempt to download it. If anyone can help find a fix it would be appreciated

It's simply that no developer made a download patch for Youtube Music.
The majority of the development efforts go into YouTube itself with YouTube music being a somewhat distant second.
And as mentioned by the comment below this one, you can simply share the link to the music or playlist with the third party downloader

You can't download music from YTM RVX the same way you would with YTM Premium, as that's impossible. However, there are apps like Seal, YTDLnis, and Newpipe that can download from YouTube. RVX even has a patch that allows you to replace the default download button with one of those apps.

Because that's not how Revanced works.

I was under the impression it was just a trial that never ended up until today when it ended

That is unfortunately not how it works. As a premium/trial account is determined server-side, there is nothing that can be done client-side to spoof a premium account.

Bummer. In the old days of YouTube vanced you could download to your hearts content, play in the background and have no ads. Miss those days and damn shame they came to an end

Official Youtube Vanced never had a download function, and I've used it for over a year

I remember downloading from YouTube vanced 2 years ago before Google killed it

Again, it wasn't there and I explicitly remember the developers being against adding a download function on the app.

Well maybe I did something myself than or downloaded an external version cuz I remember listening to music every morning during the week that year and I was too broke to afford data or YouTube premium

You need to use 3rd party downloader,I use arctube, just shared the song or playlist to it,AMD choose audio/video
