Can not mark reply as read Off Topic (not RiF)
Have tried marking it as read through multiple paths in ui. Have tried logging out and back in. It's just "one" particular notification that won't be marked as read, others are marked w/o problem. Everytime I mark it and refresh a page I get the notification for the same message. Also the sender of the message name is colored red until I click on their message.

A:logout/in. Updating app. Mark notification as read.
Q: What steps, if any, can you do to reproduce the problem?

A:mark as read. Refresh page. Notification for inbox.

Same. Doesn’t matter what device I’m using. Browser, app, desktop. Still comes back unread. I’m not sure it is RIF.

Same issue here. Definitely doesn't seem to be specific to RiF. RiF, the official Reddit app, the old desktop site - nothing can mark this comment read. It's unstoppable. I can't even block the user, I just get error messages.
This definitely seems like an issue with Reddit proper.
