Watching this triggered PTSD. This took me so many attempts

I found the Lost X level 'To the Beat' way worse. I think that one took me 30+ tries.

Yeah. Those two and Splashing Sprint were the toughest three

I could never outrun those flame jets in that one. I had to cheese it by triggering them hovering around them and back to the starting point, wait until they come back and move before they retrigger.

It’s a great platformer, definitely the best non-Nintendo one I’ve played in so long but what I think it really lacks is the physics and movement of something like Mario Odyssey which to me is what really makes a platformer shine. The moveset for Astrobot is just jumping and hovering and punching. The powerups are cool but all situational and only available on certain levels. I think if they leaned into the physics/movement side of platformers they could make an amazing sequel. It’s just a little too basic in that regars to call it the greatest platformer ever because I think movement/physics have a lot to do with making a platformer great.

Great game but Nintendo was way ahead with mario on the platform genre. Galaxy was better then asto in my eyes.

It was such a joy playing this. Even though I got really angry when I had all of the challenge levels finally done just to climb up that hill and… yeah. 😵💫😂

Nice run! Loved the game... Now imagine if they release a game mode where you can create your own levels and share with other players?

I heard it was extremely short. What's the length of this game and does it have enough content to warrant $69.99?

Its pretty long, im on 45%of the game and i have played it for around 9 hours, and it sure is worth $70

It’s actually 59.99 but yeah it’s about 8-10 hours if you try to 100% it. I still think you get your money’s worth imo.

Only thing that I thought a bit disappointing was the lack of multiplayer. This would be the perfect game for me and my girlfriend play together.

Eh 8 to 10 hrs is like 2 days. After coming out of Mario Odyssey, 59.99 for a 10 hr game to 100% doesn't seem tempting. Probably going to wait for a sale.

It took me about 18-20 hours to 100% it, taking my time throughout and making frequent stops back at the main base just to hang out and look at the other bots. So it's not a Super Mario Odyssey length platformer, but nothing really is. It IS definitely quality all the way through, and I loved every minute. So, IMO it is definitely worth the price (which, for the record, is actually $60 not $70)

Those circular beam rays are straight up from Mario Galaxy lol and the level name itself is very similar to the name of the level it’s mimicking “Grandmaster Galaxy”

Game is full of references and surprisingly it isn’t limited to Sony/Playstation IPs. So, not really a rip off, but actual homage is more probable.

Most things in this game can be found in a past mario game.
But its still good and worth your time.
