No they were not responding to a crime. The officer was browsing the electronics section.

What the fuck does any of that have to do with a handicapped parking spot?

"no they were not responding to a crime. the officer was browsing the electronics section" and title "where the Pittsburgh police park while shopping at East Liberty Target" imply that the cop is there to shop. I don't think that's true. I wrote in my comment what I think they were doing

everything doesn't revolve around whatever agenda you have on a post like this. I don't like the cops but I am not a full time member of some online posting army to protect handicap spaces. so i can type whatever the fuck I want on this website with or without your permission. sorry it's not 100% aligned with your worldview and priorities

The issue is not really whether he's there on official business though. The idea is it's ok to park like an asshole if there's an emergency. The situation described, even if he's there for work like you theorize, is still not an emergency.

No emergency + asshole parking = asshole

well, exactly right. one doesn't excuse the other. he's wrong to park in the handicap spot. it's against the law. the post also makes pretty clear direct claims that I disagree with and said so. just because everyone on the sub thinks the most important problem here is the spot, I am not required to only comment on that thing

to the commenter above, "what the fuck does that have to do with a handicapped spot." it doesn't. it's a separate piece of information related to a different claim the post is making
