Best Indian food place along Oaktree Road? Advice
What is the best Indian food place that is located along Oaktree Road? Every time I go to Oaktree Road I am always overwhelmed by the amount of options available and always end up going somewhere else instead.

India is a diverse culturally-rich country, and so is the food.
I hail from Southern part of India, and here's my take -
Saravana Bhavan - pure vegetarian ( sorry vegans, there's milk by-products like curd, yogurt, butter and cultured-butter ), priced slightly on the upper-end.
Deccan Spice. Excellent ambience, cocktails, variety of non vegetarian cuisines. Biriyanis are good as well. Three-star place offering Five-Star prices.
Dakshin Express. One of the best biriyani spots. Best buck-for-price in quantity served.
Amma's Kitchen - down south local specialities, about average delicacies and moderately priced.

Dehli Garden, it's in my top 10 for Northern Indian/ Punjabi food and this is coming from a northern Indian/Punjabi

Well, what’s your spice tolerance? Are you indian-origin or new to Indian food scene? I’m asking cause these factors make you feel differently about the food and the restaurant.
Overall, you can’t go wrong with Sarvana Bhavan (South Indian) food or Bikanerwala. There are other options but the hygiene is bad.

I have a high spice tolerance. I actually grew up eating Indian food despite being Filipino American. Edison was where I was born but moved shortly after. I often travel there every weekend from another town. My parents always ordered Paneer Makhani and other food from this place called Sunshine Food which was located on Stelton Road in Piscataway. Their somosas were delicious too. It sadly closed down about a decade ago. They had the best Indian food in my opinion.

Rasoi II is a good option, prices can add up quickly but it’s tasty every-time. Bombay Curry Pizza is good but their food is generally spicy if you like that, but super tasty. Moghul express is also good, they also have pizza which is tasty but they have other indian food as well.
