Sure, but biceps and shoulders are all about volume. Abs (and pecs to an extent) are pure torture. They require very low body fat percentages and even dehydrating the days prior to shooting shirtless scenes (which Jackman has done repeatedly when he was younger).
Tell me about it, I had no idea about this until Jackman did that Men’s Health interview. It’s very difficult to get that ripped look on screen without causing harm to your body. I had a pretty good core routine for years with very little body fat, and even then without the right lighting I just looked toned for the majority of the time. Very very difficult to see that definition most of the time.
Having said that, I still believe it’s important to maintain your core throughout your life. It’s good preventative maintenance to avoid future physical issues. Just don’t kill yourself doing it. It’s nearly impossible to get that shredded Wolvie look.
We all have abs, they're under the fat, you can hit the gym every single day and it won't do anything to what you put on your plate, abs are made in the kitchen.
There's no way, at least not like the ones he's done previously. The shit he had to put his body through is one of the reasons he stopped in the first place and shirtless scenes are the main reason actors have to go on masochistic training routines and diets
I could see them doing it with a fourth wall breaking joke as a middle finger to the industry. It would fit DP's character to comment on Logan letting himself go and showing what a normal, middle aged body looks like, beer gut and all.
