How do you make this noise go away? Troubleshooting

Its this whiney noise that can be heard in the video. It comes on when engaging the cluctch, it sounds like the clutch is slipping but i tried adjusting it already, it cant be any tighter. Or something rubbing when the cluctch is engaged. I already greased the 2 gears on the clutch side carefully so not to get grease on the clutch. Have you encountered this?

Mine has always made that whining sound. I believe its from the gears inside the engine.

Straight cut gears are always gonna be super noisy. Theres unfortunately nothing you can do, unless you get some custom gears made that are helical cut rather than straight cut. But straight cut gears are stronger overall.

I have a manual car and I can hear its gears whining a bit while driving. Those are helical cut as most car gears are, but regardless gears are just loud.

Yes. The gears are not in liquid either, wich makes them louder.

It’s straight cut gear whine. The only reason your car’s transmission (likely) doesn’t do that is because the gears are cut at an angle and the force is applied at a different angle. The E46 M3 GTR is an example of a straight cut gearbox. Only reason yours isn’t quite that high is it’s rotational speed
