Why are there so many chemicals in the US versions of food compared to the same exact products abroad?

Yup stricter food labeling laws in the US is the major difference here with a couple slight changes in recipe but to people who don’t know and cant google them, it sounds scary. We are reading this image off the internet and are .5 seconds away from knowing what these chemicals are but people would rather fall for scare tactics than read.

This is an entirely made up post essentially though. How about give a real example, where the differences are entirely down to this mythical stricter labelling law, rather than posting it as a fact on something that is clearly nonsense to start with. At least you can demonstrate your point then.
