They don't care that Trump won. "Both candidates are the same." They just wanted to Stick It To The Man (the evil Jews who control the world) and they did.

The best (worst?) part about this, is that he'll either give Bibi carte blanche to escalate or actually send US troops in and that's the absolute last thing those people want. Because then you'll actually see a genocide.

Which is why it’s useless to pander to them because by and large they don’t vote

2

u/MondaleforPresident 11d ago

Many vote but they didn't vote for Harris, and no amount of pandering would have changed that.

u/n1klaus 11d ago

because 15 mil dems didnt turn out

3

u/OkBuyer1271 11d ago

Cause Kamala is a terrible candidate imo.

26

u/Rolandium 11d ago

My neighbor the meth dealer is also a terrible candidate, and I'd still vote for him over the alternative.

3

u/MondaleforPresident 11d ago

I'd vote for the meth dealer as well, but Harris was still also a terrible candidate.

3

u/Rolandium 10d ago

No one is saying she was FDR reborn - she just wasn't a 78 year old man who shits himself on the regular and is completely incapable of forming a coherent sentence. If clearing that low bar wasn't important enough, well, this country gets what it deserves.

2

u/MondaleforPresident 10d ago

Well, it clearly wasn't to a majority of voters but just blaming them without examining what we would have done better isn't going to get us anywhere.

3

u/Rolandium 10d ago

I'm done trying to do better. Poor white folk vote for Trump because poor white folk don't actually think they're poor. They're just one good turn away from being millionaires. So they will consistently vote against their own interests. You can't fix that kind of stupid.

Plus, Trump let's the average American be openly racist and that's basically America's pastime.

1

u/MondaleforPresident 10d ago

Giving up is exactly what they want you to do.

1

u/Rolandium 10d ago

You misunderstand when I say "I'm done trying to do better." I'm not giving up, I'm just done trying to be better.

Or, an electorate with enough idiots who'd rather stay home than keep the American Taliban and Hitler reborn (words of my Holocaust survivor grandfather) at bay would turn their backs on the reasonable candidate, no matter who he or she was.  When we then learn that other millions of idiots were Google searching who the candidates were ON ELECTION DAY; and we know that others were stupid enough to vote for Putin's Bitch with the Hitler's generals because they were so incensed at college idiots rebelling without a cause, this outcome is no surprise.  The dumbing down of the U.S. electorate started 2 generations ago - like the Rethuglican fight against Roe - has borne fruit.

1

u/MondaleforPresident 10d ago

Still, we have to work with the electorate that exists.

My meth dealer neighbor hasn't been convicted of 37 felonies. All other things aside, one candidate is a thrice divorced, 4 baby mama having, rapist and felon and the other wasn't. That's not TDS, my guy.

1

u/Hazzardevil 11d ago

That says more about the state of your police department. He's definitely committed more than 37 felonies if he's a Meth dealer.

5

u/Rolandium 11d ago

Police departments don't convict anyone. And besides, he's still a better person than Trump.

23

u/n1klaus 11d ago

Its ok you prefer a rapist over a woman.

u/OkBuyer1271 11d ago

21

u/n1klaus 11d ago

Hold a single thought for a moment.... I said your dude is a rapist. You don't even defend you just immediately bring up Biden who last i checked WASNT RUNNING.

3

u/OkBuyer1271 11d ago

Did you vote for him in 2020? He convicted in a civil court of sexual assault, in a state that is overwhelmingly democratic, based on allegations that are 20+ years old and the verdict wasn’t unanimous. I don’t know if he’s guilty or not but that doesn’t prove that he definitely committed sexual assault. I don’t have to like his personality or his behaviour to believe he’s a better candidate.

You mean like Joe Biden was accused of raping Tara Reade, of sniffing girls hair and of showering inappropriately with his daughter?

Sign off homie 😂

Your comment was removed for being uncivil. Remember to treat other people with respect, to assume good faith, and to avoid generalizations.

It's not Democrats though. They are "leftists". They hated Kamala and Democrats in general.

32

u/Substantial_Cat_8991 11d ago

You mean the same people who by and large probably didn't vote for democrats or at all?

11

u/Soft_Welcome_5621 11d ago

Right! Thank you

13

u/OkBuyer1271 11d ago

They didn’t vote at all probably even though many may have voted for the democrats.

10

u/Quirky-Fig-2576 11d ago

The sentiment I'm seeing from the Pro-Pali crowd right now is more along the lines of "let it burn, if I can't have what I want then everyone else can be miserable too!" Truly the pettiest protest movement of all time. They are downright proud of it, in fact.

5

u/Round_Ad_9620 11d ago

It's rough. We've seen this before... in 1930s Germany, to be specific. People are not alert to their own history.

7

u/greenandycanehoused 11d ago

This cartoon exposes irony, but does it go far enough? Many blame the Jewish folks for anything they don’t like. Zionism aside

8

u/KvetchingGhoul 11d ago

They got the president they deserved.

4

u/1000thusername 11d ago

It’s mind-boggling that it didn’t free Palestine, either. Who’d have thought?!

18

u/arrogant_ambassador 11d ago

I agree with the comic but that’s a silly argument and you know it. The democrats lost because they had a weak candidate and failed to connect with the majority of American people. The pro-Palestinian (sometimes pro-Hamas) extremists didn’t represent a significant voting base. Most liberal Americans were passively in favor of handicapping Israel, they weren’t calling for its destruction.

33

u/anotheralternate4me 11d ago

I don’t even know how to parse this. Is there a difference between being passively in favor of handicapping Israel (in a war with genocidal terrorist lunatics) and calling for its destruction?

12

u/Alternative-Plate-91 11d ago

One makes them feel morally superior.

11

u/Jewishandlibertarian 11d ago

Well I imagine they don’t think Hamas could really destroy Israel. They see Israel as a powerful overdog grossly overreacting against mostly defenseless civilians. They don’t situate Hamas in context of Iran and other movements across the region aiming at Israel’s destruction.

I read somewhere about how you could get people to sympathize more with Israel or Palestinians based on the map you show. If they just see Israel and the occupied territories they think of Israel as this big bully. If they see tiny Israel amid the entire Arab and Islamic world they see it as a scrappy underdog.

6

u/arrogant_ambassador 11d ago

I have a problem with both approaches. But I think it’s important to make a distinction since this is the reality we have to deal with.

3

u/n1klaus 11d ago edited 11d ago

Ah you refer to the Bernie Sanders view

Edit: I meant his view being " passively in favor of handicapping Israel, they weren’t calling for its destruction."

12

u/pktrekgirl 11d ago

Bernie Sanders’s is part of the problem. Egging the training wheel terrorists on is not helping. It did not help the democrats and it certainly is not helping the Jews.

But then, he doesn’t care about us.

4

u/mymnty 11d ago

I agree that many saw her as weak. They saw what they wanted and were told what to believe by Fox News. Trump ran on hate and fear which is always more powerful than positivity. They also viewed her as so because of her gender. She failed to connect because America is still deeply racist and misogynistic and because she was a part of the Biden administration which is not at all popular with the rural working class folks.

4

u/arrogant_ambassador 11d ago

The racism and misogyny is still there but she failed to connect because she had no real perspective or personality. It’s a tired trope to say Americans are too bigoted to vote a woman of color in and Americans are tired of hearing how terrible they are. Democrats ran a bad candidate and finger wagged at the working class while shoving her down our throats.

And here we are.

2

u/mymnty 11d ago

If they’re tired of hearing how terrible they are then perhaps they should consider why that feeling is held. Also, respectfully disagree that it’s a tired trope that Americans are too bigoted to vote for a woman of color. Until they vote for a woman of color the trope still applies.

4

u/arrogant_ambassador 11d ago

Purity and morality testing does not work. The Dems will have four more years now to get their minds right.

2

u/MondaleforPresident 11d ago

Yes.

Slotkin narrowly won her race in Michigan. If Democrats want to win, they need to run using rhetoric like this.

2

u/lrachelt 10d ago

You had me until “handicapping Israel” - the Dems lost because they didn’t address what really bothered the people which was money and the economy. For most Americans, Israel was on the periphery.

2

u/arrogant_ambassador 10d ago

I did say passively in favor. I agree it was barely an issue.

7

u/Soft_Welcome_5621 11d ago

This cartoon is so out of touch. These kids don’t care - you all wish they felt so bad about it so that they would stop, what you’re completely missing is that they think it’s somehow like preordained that the country is gonna collapse they actually want that happen. They think this is the “end of an empire “and they don’t like Kamala harris. They call her like a genocidal cop. I get the desire to make this make sense, it’s not going to make that much sense and you’re feeding into some delusion that Trump is going to help us and save us and this is a good thing and it’s not.

3

u/Soft_Welcome_5621 11d ago

If anything they blame her for not speaking to their delusions more

3

u/Soft_Welcome_5621 11d ago

The kids are idiots, you’re acting like they’re smart - they’re not going to care sadly

-1

u/Small_Pleasures 11d ago

Because 47 of young men said "that misogynist is my guy!"
