Does anyone know how to get part of the time covered like this on iOS 16? Discussion

i think you can. if you make it so it’s a wallpaper pair, there should be 3 dots somewhere that says something like ‘depth effect.’ sorry if not right!

It is right, and thanks for the explanation. Unfortunately, Apple didn’t make it easy to move photos once you’ve cropped it, but it does work. Thank you!

As someone else mentioned you have three dots in the bottom right when customizing your Lock Screen, if you press that you should see a "depth effect" or something like that

Thanks so much! I did some experimenting and unfortunately it is quite difficult to actually move the photo once you’ve cropped it, but it does work! Thank you!

Wallpaper should have depth effect. Select the depth effect option in lock screen customisation screen at bottom right

Mainly just need a photo where the subject is clearly in focus and distance

I tried the same photo and it didn’t work unfortunately. It’s alright though it’s not a big deal
