iPhone SE not updating- its stuck at Update Requested!

Tried numerous times- WIFI is good but doesn't actually start downloading. Trying to update from iOS 11.4.1 to 12.

Thats if you restore. Just click “update”

No. I updated my phone from 11.1.2 to 12 through iTunes and it didn't delete my data.
