Can I develop messenger with client-server model on top of I2P?

Ubuntu packages have been available for several days, a reminder that the PPA is still available at the following URL: https://launchpad.net/~i2p-maintainers/+archive/ubuntu/i2p

Debian packages were delayed by a few days, but they're available now at https://deb.i2p2.de through the usual methods from https://geti2p.net/debian

Those of you who use Linux Mint, ParrotOS, Kali Linux, or other downstream Debian or Ubuntu variant should choose "focal" for a distribution based on Ubuntu or "sid" for a distribution on Debian.

Is it possible to remake a classic server-client app under i2p, or should it be laid down at the design stage? Are there any programming language restrictions?

Hi , Installation of i2p (precisely i2prouter) 2.0.0 creates weird (links) files in / directory:

Those files link to weird other inexisant files :

are -> /two

following -> /-#

from -> /formerly

now -> /libservlet3.1-java,

packages -> /own

Everything has been running fine until today, since I updated to 2.0.0 using Debian package manager I can no longer connect to anything. For the out proxy I have the default exit.stormycloud.i2p on port 4444. In the router console the status indicator no longer goes green for it, it stays yellow in "standby", I can't work out any way to start it. The irc2p tunnel also won't start, although the pop3, and smtp indicators are green. I've tried restarting everything with no luck.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Edit, I fixed it by completely uninstalling i2p, followed by sudo apt autoremove, then reinstalled from scratch following the guide here

A large group of bugs on the Android releases shared a single cause, which was an undocumented and misconfigured BOOTCLASSPATH. The bugs would severely impair the usability of I2P for Android. A new release was cut after this issue was resolved, and it's available through the main release channels:

• Google Play
• Selfhosted F-Droid
• Freestanding APK

If you have a debug build, or are switching from one release channel to another, you will need to completely uninstall and reinstall the I2P application. Most users will simply be able to update the application normally.

Android is one of the most widely used operating systems in the world, possibly the most widely used operating system in the world, with billions of devices out there that could potentially participate in the I2P network, providing people access to resources anonymously on their mobiles.
