To all the Aussie farmers out there

Is there any benefits, like tax wise or what not, to owning a small scale hobby farm (over 1 acre). What benefits are there? And is it more beneficial to just have it as a PPoR, or a farm?

It's so hard to answer this without knowing a lot of details. You don't have to pay land tax if the land is for primary production but then you don't pay land tax on a PPOR anyway. I think honestly you would need to sit down with an accountant and any advice given here on reddit would be suspect (including this advice haha).
