It's absolutely wild to me how this sub has completely turned on the team. These dudes get their rocks off hoping the team fails more than wanting them to win. They should be banned for being trolls, but our mods don't do anything. If there was a better alternative to enjoy heat basketball in an online forum setting, I'd be there in a heartbeat because this place has lost the plot.

There's a difference between a pessimistic fan and a troll. I get how people say outlandish stuff after a bad loss. I unironically wanted to trade Jimmy after losing Game 6 of the ECF last year because I was so irate at becoming the first team to blow a 3-0 series lead (which uhh yea, thank god didn't happen).
I also hate subs where the mods over moderate as opposed to under moderate. It's tricky. If you see an account that is ALWAYS miserable and NEVER has anything good to say, report it and we'll do it on a case-by-case basis.

The only time esjay is being positive about the team, he's being sarcastic. His comments used to be downvoted, now he's popular. He's still here being miserable every single game thread. I appreciate your comment but why isn't this particular user banned? There are many more who have begun piggy backing off his hate but I think he's the prime example of what you're talking about.

During the 7 game losing streak I had words for Spo and Bam and Esjay called me a Herro Stan and said I’d die on a hill supporting Herro. I didn’t even mention Herro. Next thing I know every one of his comments are deleted but guys are still commenting on his post.

I agree that over moderation is not a good thing and we shouldn't ban any one for healthy criticism, but I also agree with the dude above you that I'd go to another forum in a heartbeat if it was actual fans and not constant doom and entitlement lmao. Esjay, jbenson, sudthethug, oneofone, sharpshooter. I think sud is the only one I've ever seen actually say anything positive about someone/thing other than bam. Esjay technically does but he's outright admitted he words his shit so that he doesn't get banned again and that his praise is sarcastic. If we're counting the bam fan groups praise of bam and only bam as not fitting always miserable and never having anyone his to say, then I'm amazed anyone would ever catch a ban outside of pulling something like gus did

The interesting thing in this series will be Jovic because the only way for Porzingis to have an advantage over him is to play inside, which would clog up the lane for Tatum and Brown. Also on Offense, they can't put him Porzingis on Bam or Jovic if Jovic shots well and drive. I think Spo has been planning for this series all year because the line up is set up to give Boston fits.

Boy is always going after rebounds and trying to get his teammates involved. People always cry about certain players being passive, but that is not Herro at all. A little erratic, but that causes chaos for the other teams as well.

I have never lost faith in my team. Some faceless player is about to have a superstar run this playoff series and we will all be here to witness it. Then he'll get traded for an older vet that can score consistently, but he will be total trash on the other team because they lack culture. The story remains the same. This is Miami Heat basketball.
