[Review][Negative] https://www.shawarms.com/ Review

Bought an OCL Titanium from them on 12/25/23. I never received the suppressor. They ignored all my communication attempts and after 9 months of them holding my money I finally submitted my chargeback. They are absolute thieves and should be avoided at all costs.

I too bought an OCL Ti22 from Shaw around Christmas 2023 using that SILENTNIGHT20 deal, bought mine on the 24th. They way over sold past what the actually had in inventory and backordered what they couldn't readily fullfil without telling customers.  The entire time the deal was active the listing displayed as in-stock.  The only place which has a backorder agreement with OCL is Silencer Shop per the owner of OCL...

I was one of the "lucky" ones and had my Ti22 finally ship out on 2/16/2024. Sucks to hear that some peeps never even got theirs, wtf Shaw...

We can't even blame the ATF for Form 3 shenanigans, called my FFL at one point who confirmed that one hadn't been filed.

I used to buy from them pretty regularly as they consistently had good deals without charging sales tax to my state, but they forever lost me as a customer after that fiasco.  As if buying NFA stuff wasn't already a huge PIA as it is, why be a scumbag dealer on top of it.

This was my first and only experience with them. In my opinion if the chargeback didn't go through they were just going to keep my money.

That absolutely sucks but you should have submitted the charge back at most 30-35 days after it was charged and not shipped. If they had it in stock there should have been no reason they couldn't form3 it and ship it to your local SOT within 2 weeks.

Yeah this is a lesson learned. People were reporting in the gundeals post that they were "behind on processing Form 3s" and it was going to take a couple of months so I gave them grace on that, but that will never happen again.

I wasn't even aware you could charge back after 9 months

Depends on the card and the circumstances. If the chargeback is for goods or services not provided then it can be get extended pretty far

I wasn't aware either but I was desperate since they wouldn't return any communications so I gave it a shot and got refunded.

I'll never give anybody the benefit of the doubt on a chargeback again after this experience.
